Wedding videography

A wedding videographer for Yorkshire and the Lake District.

We film weddings as they happen rather than staging them, keep the ceremony and the speeches in full, and edit everything in house. Films start from £2,000.

How we film a wedding

The approach is documentary. We are not going to run a shot list at you or ask for the confetti again. We stay out of the way, film what happens, and cut it so it plays like the day felt.

Coverage runs from the preparations to the first dance. For an example of our work, watch Lucy and Luke's film.

What a film includes

  • Documentary coverage, from the preparations to the first dance
  • A film of the day, shot and cut in house
  • The ceremony and the speeches in full
  • Drone footage where the venue and the airspace allow

Sound you can hear

The ceremony and the speeches are in the film in full, so the sound matters as much as the picture. We record both on dedicated audio recorders, not just the microphones on the cameras.

Cameras and the drone

We film on a DJI Ronin 4D and a Sony A7R V, and fly a DJI Mavic 3 Pro. We are CAA GVC and A2 licensed, with our operator ID current to April 2027. Whether the drone can fly on the day depends on the venue and the airspace, and we check both before we quote rather than after. Our guide to drones at weddings sets out the rules.

Adding photography

If you want photographs as well, film and photography together start from £3,500, which is £500 less than booking the two separately at the starting prices. The film and the photographs are graded to match, and there is no separate supplier to work around. More on booking a photographer and videographer together, or on our wedding photography.

Where we film

Yorkshire and the Lake District are home. We travel across the UK for the right wedding, and abroad for destination weddings, and any travel is written into the quote. More on where we shoot.

What it costs

Films start from £2,000, including VAT. Every wedding is priced to the day: the date, the venue and the hours you want covered. Our guide to wedding videographer prices sets that against what couples pay across the UK, and packages and prices has the detail.

Tell us the date and the venue.

That is enough for us to say yes or no. If we are free we will send you a full film to watch end to end, not a thirty second cut.
